Barrister Derrick Mensah
Mr. Derrick Mensah, the Managing Partner, was born at Begoro in Ghana and after his initial secondary school education at Prempeh College, Kumasi, obtained a scholarship to study in Austria where he attended the Bundeserziehungsanstahlt (BEA) at Saalfelden in the Salzburg District and the English International School in Vienna.
Mr Derrick Mensah studied Economics for two years at the famous Vienna Economics University (Wirtschaftuniversität, Wien) before moving to England to read law.
After obtaining his LLB Honours degree at the University of London as an external student, he obtained a Master’s degree at the London School of Economics specialising in Law of the Sea, Law of International Institutions, Law of Armed Conflict and Human Rights.
He was called to the English Bar in July 1988 and to the Ghana Bar some twenty years later in 2008. He has written extensively in the areas of Contract law, law of Evidence, Constitutional law and Public International Law.
Barrister, Justice Ofori
Mr. Justice Ofori is a Partner of the firm in charge of Corporate and Criminal Law. He is a commissioned Notary Public and has over 17 years work experience as a Barrister and Solicitor.
He possesses vast experience in Civil Litigation and Arbitration, Family Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Company Law and Company Secretarial practice.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (L.LB) from the University of Ghana and a Barrister-at-Law (BL) Certificate from the Ghana Law School. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association
He has since 1998 actively engaged in legal practice in Ghana and possesses a host of experience and expertise in Criminal, Company Law, Family Law, Commercial Law and Corporate Law Practice.
Rose Adu Poku
Mrs. Rose Adu Poku, a former associate of the renowned Ghanaian law firm of Bentse & Ankoma was admitted to the Law Society in England in 2000 and the Ghana Bar in 2010. She is British born and originally pursued a career in the Art World after reading Art History at Leicester University.
After obtaining a London University LLB Honours degree as an external student she worked in the Capital Markets Department of Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands, followed by private client work as an associate with Blake Lapthorn Linnells in Oxford and as a Head of Department and Partner of the Bedford and Northamptonshire based firm of Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP, before relocating to Ghana in 2009.
She specializes in intellectual property law, corporate law, Immigration, Banking & Finance. Her clients have included Bouygues International, one of the largest construction companies in the world and Limkokwing University, one of the largest international private universities in the world.
She receives instructions on trademark and patent protection from around the world.
In addition to English, she has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
